This Term's Learning

 Welcome readers,

Today is the last day of Term 2. Sadly, I couldn't finish my part 2 of How To Train Your Dragon. But today we are having a shared lunch! It is a PJ movie and shared lunch. I finished all my writing and math slides. I just need to finish 3 slides on reading then I finish all my work! We started our Matariki slides 2 or 3 days ago. On the last task we do an animation on either Scratch or Google Slides. I haven't started that yet because I need to finish all my work first. Which I probably won't finish this block. I started another story about a Wizard. It was on the Writing slides. Below is the doc if you want to see it.

That was the part 1 of it. I will do part 2 once I've finished the How To Train Your Dragon part 2. I still don't know how to make it so you don't have to scroll down. Sometimes it doesn't even appear.

My Teacher told me to put my Goals for the Term here.

                                         My Goals

My first goal is to be more confident in front of small crowds. I can do that by saying my Pepeha in front of the class every day.

                            My academic Goal

My academic goal is to practice my multiplication daily so I can move on to division.

I just need my Tupaia, Kupe and Painted hoe (hoe-e not hoe) slides and then I finish all my work.
In Cross Country this Term I came 8th place. I was supposed to come 9th but nobody took 8th place for some reason. I got 3 tokens for coming in the top 10. First place got 10 tokens.

Today in block 2, we are finding out who won in the Fale Competition. We are doing it under the shade sails.

See you on my next post (Which will probably be next Term).

This weeks learning

 Welcome readers!

Today we officially opened our Shade Sail. It wasn't fair that the student leaders got to eat food with the parents. I mean, why didn't I get picked as a student leader!(I think I wasn't there.) We also did Toolkit previews. Because next week were going to do the real toolkit opening! Anyway I finally finished my math slides for the week! (Which is unusual considering it's me, as I don't really like Math.) We had to use our division and multiplication for most of them. The first one was easy for me. We had to identify which fraction was greater.(Bigger.) Here is an example of one. 2/4 and 3/5. But he said we could use the Fraction Strips site to help us. And it really helped me out a lot. Then you had to put one of these < or > in between them. Here is the site if you were wondering what it is. Fraction Strip

I didn't have time to do my Kupe slides, or the Painted hoe.(That's pronounced hoe-e in Maori I think, not hoe.) And Mr Jones ripped up my Matariki paper star. Which was kind of rude, but at the same time I didn't finish it when he wanted it finished. I finished typing the writing doc. Here it is if you wanted to see it.

Now that was only part one of the story! I will do another post on part two. Which will be about them fighting in the Ultimate Dragon competition. Just read it then you'll know what I'm trying to say. Anyway that's it for this weeks post. I will do another one probably tomorrow or next week. Sorry if you have to scroll down trying to read it. But I didn't know how to change that! I only know how to do it on slides. See you on my next post!
