Days Learning

 Kia Ora readers!

I think this is my second blog post in lockdown but I'm not sure. Anyway, I have absolutely no clue why I always wake up like 30 minutes after the 9:00 am meeting. I just wanted to say since my last blog post for Term 2, my Fale (Totara) actually won the house ("friendly") competition. We only got Ice blocks and free playtime, which was a shame because we had like, I dunno, 3 THOUSAND tokens in our box. We had a pretty good strategy. But I'm not going to share it with you because people from other Fales (house in English) might do the same. I think I only got under 20 tokens. But that's because in our class we earn points for the houses, not tokens. Its the same thing just when Thursday comes we count all the points and our teacher (Mr Jones) either gives us the tokens and tell one person from each house to put the tokens he gives them into their Fale box, or he counts the points by himself and writes it on a paper then gives it to Room 11's teacher (Ms Gosh or Mrs, I forgot!) because she is the one that counts up all the tokens we earned and puts them in the box. And there's only 3 Terms (2 Terms now) of doing this. So either one Fale doesn't win at all, they tie, or they come in last. Those are the only options.

Alright onto my actual learning. I just finished my first point to my speech today. My topic is about Smoking, and why its bad for your health. I started yet another Math slide as well (when is this going to end!). I don't plan to finish all of the Math slides this week. I mean, its already Thursday! I just plan to finish the one I started. And I want to ask my brother for more ideas on my speech because his speech was the same topic. That's where I got the idea from. Here is the Math Slide I started.

And here are the questions to those below.

I just finished it so I've got one Math Slide ticked off my list and one more to go! I'm going to start a Reading Task/Slide tomorrow. Probably going to finish it next Wednesday if I have time. Or I'll finish it next Thursday if I'm still working on the Math Slide that I recently started today. I hope I wake up earlier than today tomorrow. But if I don't wake up at like 7:00 am I'll email Mr Jones to take a point off my Fale (or not!).

Anyway, that's the end of my Blog Post today. Hopefully I will make a new one on Wednesday next week. And I will see you (not really) on my next Blog Post! See ya LATER!

Weeks Learning

Welcome (back) readers to my Blog.

Sorry about my last post. I forgot to publish it on the first week. I just published it today. But the whole of New Zealand is in lockdown! All of the city's but Auckland is in level 4 for three days. But we're in Auckland and they say it's closest to Coromandel so Auckland is now in level 4 for a whole week! Can you believe that!?! It started on the previous Tuesday. So I think every Ako Hiko School in New Zealand are doing distance learning. Which is why I'm doing this Blog Post in the middle of lockdown.

Today I finished the Goldilocks Task. It was pretty easy considering there were 4 Tasks. On Task 1 we had to write what we remember about Goldilocks in no more than 4 sentences. I didn't do that. I practically wrote the whole story in a doc. But then when I saw it I did what I remembered in 4 sentences just like it said in the Task. On Task 2 we had to watch the video or read the story. Then we had to ask ourselves if Goldilocks was a criminal or not. And if she should face consequences. On task 3 we had to decide whether or not Goldilocks was a criminal. I decided she was in between criminal and innocent. But that wasn't an option so I picked criminal instead. I wrote down why she was a criminal and what consequence she would have. Task 4 was pretty easy. We just needed to go on the link that our teacher put on the slide and put our names underneath what we thought she was. A Criminal or a Victim. Obviously I chose criminal because nobody I know has gone into a random house, eats the food on their table, sits on their chairs (and breaks one as well!), and sleeps in all of their beds. Then just runs out like nothing happened at all! And I wouldn't either. Anyway moving on to the Math slides (some people say Maths with an s when it's really just Math).

I finished one slide in Math because I couldn't figure out what a Dot Plot is and how to make one! The Mathsisfun website didn't help either. Anyway the slide I finished only had one task (that's how I finished it so quickly). It was about the ethnic composition in 2006. We had to make I notice and I wonder statements that include because for some reason. My I notice statement was that the others only had 1 percent because the NZ Europeans had 57 percent. And I completely forgot my I wonder statement and I can't be bothered searching for it.

That's all I did today excluding this Blog Post that I'm doing right now. So that is it for this weeks Blog Post and I will see you on my next Post (which is going to be next week).

First Week Back at School!

Welcome viewers/readers, to my first blog post of Term 3!

It's actually the second day of term 3 not the first. I don't know why we didn't do this yesterday. This terms focus is to be Collaborative with others. Today we played a number game. So there was a group of 4 or 5, and the first person says one. Then he says it again and the second person says two. And it goes on and on like that. We did it with ten people but we couldn't finish. That was just a practice one. Tomorrow we're doing the actual one and whichever group wins gets a prize(probably chocolate!). But this time you have to do it using Te Reo(I think). You can also play the game in other different languages. Yesterday we did our spelling, and as usual I finished it on the first day(practicing not the actual test).

I had a pretty good holiday. I slept in, played Minecraft(Education Edition) Bed Wars with my cousin(I kept winning. He's pretty bad at it.). And as I am a Muslim, we celebrated Eid Al-Adha! There was a lot of food. I mostly play outside in the park with my cousins/friends. I usually just wait for the goody bags. But this time there was a group from my old Madrasah singing the songs of the 25 Prophets and the 12 months of Islam. After that the I.C monitors got two goody bags for no reason at all. I mean, they were the ones that got all the candy and lollies for them. So they could 5 each. Like, BRUH. After that I got into the line for barbecue. I took 2 sausages and one lamb.

Anyway that's the end of my Blog Post for today and I will see you guys next time!
